« Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Yelloh Village La Roche Posay. We stayed on a *** pitch. We have a large caravan and as much as the pitch was a good size, we had to un hitch to get our van on our pitch, and push it on....thankfully fellow campers were around to help. We don't have a motor mover on our caravan as husband is good at manoeuvering, but would recommend one as access roads to the camping areas are narrow if you have a large van and opposite pitch is occupied. Had to park our car in area just opposite pitch due to space once awning was up. Site was spotless. Quiet at night. Toilet and shower facilities were great-clean, well maintained and no queues whatsoever!! Only oddity was that some men were using the ladies' showers which felt a bit odd and husband reported some women using the mens too! (but France do seem to have quite a lot of mixed sex toilets and opposite sex seen using facilities in places off site! Perhaps it's just because I'm English?! I don't know!) Perhaps customers could be made aware that there are separate male and female facilities on arrival? Canoeing on the river was good fun. Swimming pool was immaculate and sunbed reservation isn't allowed to happen which was refreshing!!!! Restaurant was fair. Simple food. Fast. Pizzas were lovely. We did have a lamp post on our pitch which was on all night til about 5.30am and very bright. If weren't in a van or blackout tent, it could make for poor sleep. Park was good for the kids, as were the bouncy castles. Site was big enough but also small enough to allow the kids some freedom. Chauvigny town is pretty with big market on Saturday mornings. Velorail was good fun. Would return to the site but prefer more to do locally in evenings etc. »

« Great plot with private facilities. Restaurant food was lovely but service slow. Unfortunately shop does not stock enough items. Do not like the dusty surface near the stage and children’s playground. Entertainment went on too late in the evening »

« Good stay. Lovely small campsite..having said that, i was extremely disappointed when one morning during a hosted morning boxing session held by the reps from the campsite the music being played was full of swear words, and profanities. The N words was constantly being ueed..People of colour would find extremely offensive. I understand English is not the first language but please educate yourselves and your staff. »

« 2nd time at this site and it’s lovely, pitches are spacious ours had the right amount of shade although the dead branches could be cut from the trees around pitch 103. Swimming Pool is fab, most of the entertainment is in French. »
